I'm using this 'clickhappier-archive' account to post archival copies of old MTurk-related userscripts from userscripts-mirror.org (which is itself an archive of the defunct site userscripts.org) and forum posts, which their authors or others haven't re-posted on Greasyfork yet. Some of these may no longer be all that interesting as more recent scripts may do what they do better, but some remain very useful.

Script Summary: Monitors for new HITs from requesters on your list.
This script continuously monitors Mturk for new HITs by requesters that you have on your list. I have already added some requesters to the list, but you can add and remove whatever you like. There is no limit to how many search terms you can add. You can have as many as you like and it won't increase the amount of page requests to Mturk.
To use the script, simply make a bookmark for the following url: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchbar?selectedSearchType=hitgroups&qualifiedFor=on&sortType=LastUpdatedTime%3A1
Whenever you load that page, it will automatically refresh every 5 seconds and search for your terms. If it finds any, a sound will play, an alert will come up, and the tab will take focus. The script will stop after an alert so that you can follow links, export HITs, etc. In order to restart the script, simply reload the page. It will automatically restart itself 5 minutes after the alert box is closed in the case that you forget.
If you're using this script on the same computer that you're working, you may find it handy to right click and pin the tab that it's in to save space and prevent closing it by accident.
To add requesters, just edit the userscript and follow the same format as the already existing terms. They do not have to be in any particular order, on separate lines, or spaced in any particular way. They just need to be inside of quotes, with a comma following each term other than the last one on the list. If you make a typo and break the script, you'll know immediately because the page won't reload for you the next time that you activate it.
If you would like to use a different sound file for your alert or adjust the sleep time after an alert or the rate at which the page refreshes, just look for the notes that I've written in the script. They will point out for you where those changes can be made.
