Artificing

The script seems to be working ok. How can i get it to pick the lvl 7 gather wood and ore vs. lvl 1?

you need to edit the script and change the professtion task in the script

I would edit it but I don't know where to do it. Can someone show me where and how to change the script?

With Residuum it do normal leveling task.

Here is Jewelcrafting, Artificing will look same, "ArtificingTier2Refine_Basic", Tier 1 task is added so script not get stuck.
