< Feedback on AO3: Script Sync
Hey, glad someone finds this useful! :)
Can you clarify what your asking for, did you want one sync widget that will work for both this script and Fictracker, or do you want two different sync widgets side by side?
Either way works! Whatever is easiest, but if it's the same difference then I would probably choose having one what works for both scripts. The issue is just that, as it is now, if I have them both set to visible they overlap because they're located in the same spot, so I can't tell which one I'm looking at or clicking. Thank you again!
So I don’t actually use either widget myself, but I think if I did I’d probably want one widget instead of two.
The only catch is that I can’t really make it a fully merged widget from Script Sync’s end, since FicTracker has its own timer/widget logic. I could do that for my FicTracker version, but I want this to still work with the original FicTracker too.
What I can do is hide FicTracker’s widget when Script Sync’s widget is showing, and make clicking Script Sync’s widget trigger both Script Sync and FicTracker sync. The timer shown would still just be Script Sync’s timer though, while FicTracker keeps doing its own sync schedule in the background.
Does that still sound good, or would you rather just have two separate widgets side by side?
YOU ARE MY HERO!!! This is a LIFESAVER. I use so many different devices, not being able to sync script data was a nightmare. THANK YOUUUUU!!! I do have one small question — is it possible to have the sync widget in the corner active for both this script and FicTracker without them overlapping? No big deal if not, again you are my HERO for this. (If you saw me post this on the wrong script, no you didn't 😅)
