On firefox it doesn't, besides if the script depends on nothing running on background its simply not worth it because I need other extensions for other reasons.
Works for me in Firefox and I have several other userscripts and extensions for youtube.
Still broken for me, no matter what.
I had this same issue, all my computers using Greasemonkey on Firefox stopped working at the same time while my one PC using Tampermonkey/Firefox didn't. I've swapped to Tampermonkey and it's been fine ever since.
I'm USING TamperMonkey.

Yeah, indeed it still works for me. I can't fix something that I don't see. Maybe you can help debugging the problem in devtools.
Nothing says anything wrong anywhere. I even disabled filters like uBlock and StyleBot ENTIRELY to make sure they are not causing it, but nope.
BROKEN. Reinstalling it doesn't make it work.
