I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time to make lightly-formatted commenting easier on mobile! (I’ve yet to post a comment with it on mobile, but I’ve tested everything short of that and commented on deskop; I was so excited to see this that I created an account here to give kudos 👏)

I’ve been using this extensively for a month now, and it’s been fantastic in every way. It eliminates the friction and fuss of using blockquotes and italics, especially on mobile, but it’s handy on desktop, too, where I tend to include links in start notes or end notes. Kudos 👏
