Yes, but this works when one isn't logged in, which is helpful.

I mean, I do specify quite clearly that I only recommend this for the people (like me) who are usually logged out when using YouTube. I highly recommend using the official way if you usually are logged in. I wrote this script for myself and figured I'd share it here for others with my admittedly niche use-case.

As I pointed out to pixdoet on the reddit thread. I went to turn off the setting on youtube and it was already off. I then tried several times to turn it on then back off etc while seeing if it would disable inline playback and it never did. This script worked immediately while logged in. Thanks for writing the script.

the youtube setting does not persist. when you clear cookies the behavior reverts, this script is essential
