Description

Automate archiving Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and other social media posts on archive.today and its mirrors (archive.ph, archive.is, archive.vn) with a smart, CAPTCHA-safer queue system. Automatically detects platforms, extracts usernames, and generates meaningful export filenames. Resume processing across page reloads with cross-domain persistence.

Key Features

  • Smart Status Tracking: Distinguishes between Processed (newly archived), Skipped (already archived), and Restricted (content unavailable/login required).
  • Import/Export .txt files:
    • Import (merge): Append URLs from a .txt file to the existing queue
    • Import (replace): Clear all lists and replace with new URLs
    • Export: Download restricted URLs with auto-generated filenames like username_domain-restricted-urls_2025-12-21.txt.
  • CAPTCHA-Safe with Auto-Resume: Detects CAPTCHAs, pauses processing, and automatically resumes when solved or progress is detected.
  • Cross-Domain Persistence: Maintains queue and stats across archive.today domain redirects (e.g., .ph → .li) using GM_storage.
  • Rate Limiting Protection: Configurable delays (2-5s between requests), domain rotation across 7 mirrors, and daily limits (default: 150 URLs/day).
  • User-Friendly Overlay: Compact UI for managing queue, importing/exporting, and monitoring progress.

How to Use

  1. Install via Tampermonkey
  2. Open archive.today (or any mirror)
  3. Click the overlay to add or import URLs (.txt file, one URL per line)
  4. The script processes the queue automatically, marking URLs as processed, skipped, or restricted
  5. CAPTCHA? Solve it manually - the watchdog will auto-resume
  6. Export results: Click "Export Restricted" to download failed URLs
