The creator is very lazy. I spoke to him on his discord server about it and he simply cursed at me. His comrades said that he is working on other scripts for more popular io games so he has completely abandoned this project.
You know what his recent updates are for? To add more ads to his code. Which you can simply remove by deleting some lines. He wants to "monetise" his work but this is not the way to do it. His code is clearly open source and any one with some spark of coding knowledge can simply bypass that. Unfortunately however, most of userbase does not know how to code, so he still earns money from this. Also, just clear cookies in digdig.io to unban yourself. But this also takes away your gold. You cannot give yourself gold by changing cookies. They're simply account ID, gold and cosmetics are stored on their servers, same with ban status.
