im trying to use ComicLooms on rule34.xxx and on X and on either site all mp4 files will not load past the first frame, also i think the icon for looms is broken in the corner, all the settings are the default, both ComicLooms and Chrome are up to date.

I can't reproduce the video playback issue on Chrome with Tampermonkey. Could you try testing this on a different browser (e.g., Firefox) to see if the problem persists?

Also, please check your Userscript Manager (e.g., Tampermonkey) dashboard. Make sure you don't have two versions of "Comic Looms" installed，one named "Comic Looms" and the other "ComicLooms".

The problem doesnt see to happen on FireFox, just Chrome.

I dont have ComicLooms, i only have Comic Looms, with the space, I deleted all other Tampermonkey scripts, and the probem still persists

this issue might be just a Macbook specific issue, it seems to work on firefox, but i like to use chrome.

These Unicode symbols are from the private use area (PUA), so their appearance varies across different operating systems. You can customize them in CONF > Style.

I don't have a MacBook, but normally Chrome uses the Blink engine across multiple platforms, so the behavior should be consistent. Could you provide the console logs when attempting to play a video?

I'm not sure why your video volume exceeds 100. It might be caused by floating-point calculation accuracy issues on macOS. Try lowering the volume using the playback control bar.

Additionally, I will release an update to limit the maximum video volume to 100.

Alternatively, you can uninstall Comic Looms and reinstall it to reset the configuration to default.

Your userscript manager doesn't remove old configurations after scripts are uninstalled.

However, I've made an update to fix this issue, just update it.
