It works quiet well and actually manages to reapply the setting, even after reboot. That is something that the native chrome extensions like AudioXOut fail to do.

My only complain is that it asks for microphone permission on every site, not just on those where I changed the output device. I fixed that by changing the @match instruction to just the site I care about, but that is probably something that could be easily fixed If the author is still interested.

So close to being perfect. It does what it says it does but unfortunately stops my webcams from working. I know for sure because disabling the script makes them work again. I really wish that weren't the case because this is so far the best way to reroute audio on Chrome.
