Hi, I encountered a similar problem but with a blurry effect around the video. I fixed it by clicking on the cog wheel and disabling ambient mode. Hope this helps.
YouTube has implemented a black piece of image or a image script that covers almost entirely the links button.So it seems that they are not working. but theya re just under the cover YouTube implemented. the buttons are fine and working. they are just covered. I am attaching a screenshot. we need a way to bypass the youtube image blocking cover.
