I downgraded back to v98, and the "For you" tab is still there! And now I'm also seeing "Who to follow." What the heck? What happened? I'm still not seeing any promoted tweets, so this thing is still at least partially working, but now I know that it wasn't v99 per se that broke some things, so what could be the culprit?
v100 fixed it. Well, eventually: only after I relaunched Firefox a couple of times... which still makes me think that something else was going on.
v99 stopped hiding the "For you" tab, despite remaining:

Also, do any of the config settings disable the floating blue "Tweeted" button?
