Searchable directory overlay for the Tools & Userscripts forum, built on top of Torn's own API.
Tools & Userscripts moves fast. Good scripts are on page 2 within a day, and there's no easy way to browse by
category or search what's been made. Unless you already know a thread title, a lot of useful tools are simply hard to
find.
Script Finder is a userscript that adds a searchable browser for the Tools & Userscripts forum.
It pulls thread data directly from Torn's official API and lets you search, filter and sort without leaving Torn.

Open any forum page and click the 🔎 button. It's draggable, so place it wherever you like.
Enter your Torn API key when prompted. Public access is all that's required.
How indexing works
The first time you use it, Script Finder crawls the entire Tools & Userscripts forum through Torn's API and builds
a local index. This is a one-time process and usually takes a minute or two.
After that, it only downloads threads newer than the ones you've already indexed, so future launches are much faster.
Search quality also improves in the background. Thread titles are searchable immediately, while first-post searching
becomes available as posts are gradually indexed. You'll see a small progress indicator while this happens.
Known limitations
Categories are generated using keyword matching, so the occasional thread may end up in the wrong category. If you
spot one, let me know in this thread and I'll improve the rules.
