EggsTerminator
EggsTerminator is a Torn userscript that helps you hunt Easter eggs by combining a state-aware page navigator with an egg finder overlay, local counters, and a compact settings panel.
It is designed for Torn's Easter egg event, where eggs can appear across many different Torn pages and your available pages can change depending on whether you are home, hospitalized, jailed, travelling, abroad, or racing.

State-aware navigation
EggsTerminator reads Torn's status icons and changes its navigation pool and theme based on your current state:
- Home: default Torn-style dark panel.
- Hospital: red theme.
- Jail: orange/brown theme.
- Travelling: blue theme.
- Abroad: green theme.
- Racing: neutral dark theme.
This helps avoid cycling to pages that are not useful or not accessible in your current situation.
Installation
- Install a userscript manager such as Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey.
- Install EggsTerminator from GreasyFork.
- Open Torn in your browser.
- The EggsTerminator button should appear automatically after the page finishes loading.
How to use
- Click the EggsTerminator button to move to the next allowed page.
- Use the gear icon on the button to open the settings panel.
- Toggle between floating and sidebar mode from the settings panel.
- Toggle the floating button position from the settings panel.
- Reset the page index if you want to start from the beginning of the page pool.
- Reset egg counters if you want to start tracking again from zero.
- Use the smart log sync button on the Easter egg log page to sync collected eggs from visible Torn log entries.
- Use the fake egg button to test how the egg overlay and navigator hiding behavior will look.
Long press shortcut
Long press the EggsTerminator button to reset the page index back to the start of the current navigation pool.
Egg counters
EggsTerminator keeps two counters:
- Found: increments when an egg is detected on a page.
- Collected: increments when the detected egg disappears after being clicked.
The counters are stored locally in your browser with localStorage. They are not sent anywhere and do not require a Torn API key.
Smart log sync
The settings panel includes a smart sync option for Torn's Easter egg log.
If you are not already on the log page, the button opens the correct log category. After the log page loads, click the sync button again to count visible "you picked up an Easter egg" entries and update the collected counter.
Privacy and permissions
- No Torn API key is required.
- No external server is used by the script.
- Data is stored locally in browser localStorage.
- The script runs only on
https://www.torn.com/*.
- The script uses jQuery from Torn's own script library.
Troubleshooting
- If the button does not appear, refresh the Torn page after the userscript manager has loaded.
- If another egg navigator script is installed, disable the duplicate script to avoid two buttons fighting for the same space.
- If your counters look wrong, use "Reset eggs" in the settings panel.
- If the button is in the way, switch position or toggle sidebar mode.
- If Torn changes its event markup, the fake egg preview can still be used to test the local overlay behavior.
