No Audio for downloaded videos

The videos I download don't have any audio. Is that normal? Is there something I can do?

Hi, you must have downloaded the DASH videos. They are indicated by M4V (video) or M4A (audio). You need to download both parts.

You can either mux them using ffmpeg, or you can use a media player that (i) looks for the audio file automatically (same name as the video file), or (ii) can load an external audio file.

Alternatively, download the normal videos. They are indicated by MP4. They are only available in 360p and 720p. They are presumably kept for backwards compatibility only.
