WME Language Color Selector

(NL) Hiermee geef je elke UR-taal een eigen kleur, zodat je snel ziet in welke taal de melder zijn app gebruikt. Slim gebruik: Kies Gebruik kleur voor overige talen zodat je gemakkelijk kunt zien of het bijvoorbeeld niet je eigen taal is. (EN) This script lets you assign a custom color per UR reporter language, so you can quickly see what language the Waze app is set to. Smart usage: choose Use color for other languages making it easy to see if it's not your native language.

Welcome to the WME Language Color Selector (LCS).

This script was created at the request of a Dutch editor, after I had sent out a request for ideas because I wanted to delve deeper into WME scripting.

LCS was created to improve the experience when handling Update Requests (URs). You can access LC (or TK for Dutch users) via the Scripts sidebar. There, you can add languages and assign them a color. When you then open a UR, you'll see that the language has the same color under User Preferences. This gives you a quicker overview of which language the UR was submitted in.

You can also color-code all other languages with a single click.

At the request of several members on Waze Discuss, an option has also been added to place a color icon on the UR on the map. This option is now available as well.
