This UserScript displays a Markdown toolbar for textboxes on Ozbargain and ChoiceCheapies

The script is a modified version of Markdown toolbar for reddit.com Credits to wOxxOm and darkred. Also credits to Bootstrap and Github for the SVG icons

Features

  • Textbox buttons for Markdown insertion and conversion
  • Built-in checks for the intricacies that can break markdown like unexpected spaces and lack of line breaks
  • Directly quote from selected text anywhere on the page
  • Dynamic Quote button when selecting text from main post
  • Keyboard shortcuts - Hover buttons to see shortcut. Shortcuts only work while inside the textbox.
  • Added a shortcut for Preview button: Ctrl+P for Windows or Cmd+P for macOS
