Overview

Public-inbox, among other things, is a mailing list archive viewer. This user script adds access keys to some links on websites running public-inbox, such as https://public-inbox.org and https://lore.kernel.org, which allows faster navigation using keyboard.

To activate an accesskey, press the access key modifier specific to your browser (e.g. Alt+Shift in Firefox) and one of the following keys:

n / p – go to the "next" and "prev" pages on the thread listing.
z – "go to the front page", aka the listing of "latest" and "newest" threads. Using key "z" for this is borrowed from MediaWiki.
s – place cursor in the search text field.
f / n – go to the "flat" / "nested" thread view. Useful for going from an individual email to the thread.
t – jump to the "thread overview" at the bottom of threads. You can then use tab and shift+tab to select the email to jump to. Press enter to jump to the email.
1 2 ... 0 – go to threads 1, 2, through 10 on the page (not very reliable at the moment).
