Call Manager has the phone screen to start on the Device name, this changes the drop down box automatically to phone number. Now when you visit this page you can avoid one step.
https://your phone server/ccmadmin/phoneFindList.do I actually saved this link as my call manager favorite, so when I go work on a phone it opens to this screen where I can get to work just by pasting the number if I copied it.
