JAMA (https://www.jamasoftware.com/) is an incredibly mouse-based web-interface, with just-about no in-built keyboard shortcuts.

So my script provides these extra shortcuts to give you some mouse-relief:

Searching:

  • ALT+/ = Go to 'Search' bar
  • Alt+Shift+F = Advanced Search
  • Alt+F = Perform "Find me" action (now works on folders too)

Navigation:

  • Alt+V =
    • For items: Click "View" button
    • For folders: Click "View" link
  • Alt+A = Click "Action" button
  • Alt+E = Click "Export" button
  • Alt+Shift+J = Focus on Left pane
  • Alt+Shift+K = Focus on Main pane
  • Alt+H = Click 'Back' button in browser history
  • Alt+L = Click 'Forward' button in browser history
  • Alt+5 = click on 'Relationships' button
  • Alt+6 = click on 'Connected Users' button
  • Alt+7 = click on 'Comments' button
  • Alt+8 = click on 'Activities' button
  • Alt+9 = click on 'Versions' button
  • Alt+0 = click on 'Synchronized Items' button
  • Alt+- = click on 'Sub Items' button

JAMA Tab Navigation:

  • Alt+, = navigate to previous JAMA tab
  • Alt+. = navigate to next JAMA tab
  • Alt+w = close current JAMA tab

Folder-View Items Navigation:

  • Alt+J = focus on next item down the list
  • Alt+K = focus on previous item up the list
  • Alt+M = click on active item (to visit it)
  • Space or Alt+S = select current item (will be ticked and highlighted)

Editing Items:

  • Alt+Shift+E = Click 'Edit' button
  • Alt+C = Cancel edit
  • Alt+D = 'Save & done' for edit
