Don't like the youtube autoplay suggestion? This script can create a queue with videos you want to play after your current video has finished!
< Feedback on Youtube Play Next Queue
I do the same request to Cptmathix Github userscript support:
"Youtube Play Next Queue" v.2.5.5 - Broken after last code change for Video thumbnail #97
Hi decembre,
Yes I've unlisted Youtube Play Next Queue since I'm personally not really using the script anymore and only want to provide limited support. The previous time it broke CY Fung was kind enough to fix it. (So the github issue is not my repository FYI)
I'll see if I can easily fix the issue
Haaa, thanks
:-)
CY Fung reply:
"Cannot reproduce it yet.
It could be A/B testing so I cannot check it now."
I believe the issue is due to the stricter CSP control implemented in YouTube.
Now fixed in 2.5.2

Great !
but ....Seems not working?
It is a long time i don't use it, so i forgot how / where are its Queue button on thumbnail of related videos:
Can you provide a big screenshot of them?
And their Css selectors too?
Actually i use too :
Tabview YouTube Totara
And it should be great to use them together.
For my testing, i do test with it / without it....
It is a long time i don't use it, so i forgot how / where are its Queue button on thumbnail of related videos:
Yeah.. this is a very old script. I doubt that even author Cptmathix himself won't use it any more ...
As he mentioned that he already hide this script from the public.
I forgot either. Please refer to the very outdated demo shown in https://greasyfork.org/scripts/28678-youtube-play-next-queue
And it should be great to use them together.
There is no conflict between Tabview YouTube Totara and Youtube Play Next Queue

Thanks!

But i don't show the Add / Remove to Queue Buttons.
Same in DevTools.
I think it is already broken.. because I remember YouTube changed the element tag names (and also DOM hierarchy) for their view model design.
You need to ask @Cptmathix to update.
try this script. https://greasyfork.org/scripts/571443-youtube-queue-button-restore
Interesting, show old original Yt buttons but click on its button seems not working (i tested not connected).
In its discussion:
buhoho (Dev):
" ... But more importantly, YouTube has now officially restored the "Watch later" and "Add to queue" hover buttons on thumbnails, so you shouldn't need this script anymore. Feel free to uninstall it. If YouTube ever removes them again, this script will be here as a backup."
ZeZekeZ (user):
"... now that the bugs are fixed it is legitimately useful as YouTube keeps randomly taking away the Queue and Watch Later buttons, mine are missing from video recommendations."
I prefer the old ""Youtube Play Next Queue" which worked fine,
because it remind our selection across new tabs (connected or not).
And because i adapted easily in my userstyle to work too with 'Tabs View"
About your fix, i notice you use a previous version of "Youtube Play Next Queue" :
v.2.5.1
The last FIX by you and Cpt_mathix for it was v.2.5.5...
Maybe it is why it don't work ?
Hey decembre,
I made a fast attempt to fix the script with the lovely help of AI. Maybe I'm able to keep up with youtube changes again, but the code itself won't be the most beautiful.
Can you try the latest version? only briefly tested it tbh since I don't use the script myself anymore.
If there are issues, it's possible I won't be able to fix them until june
Kr,
Cptmathix
Thanks... but it seems not working:
I always don't see its buttons.
This script was very useful - when it worked...:
After Youtube include all these new IA videos junks. it should be more useful now.
Did it work for you?
I tested with / without Totara.
With / Without my userstyle..
Firefox / Tampermonkey.
after the update, a "+" button shows when cursor hovers on the video thumbnail

there are still .innerHTML = XXXX
just drop them all.
Then you don't need the TTP hack.
Haaa yes ....
I need changing my glass or take more coffee.
The famous "✚" button is here !
And clicking on it, do the job.
Thanks a lot.
;-)
Now need to make some adaptations for my userstyle....
[2025.09] Seems Youtube change its code for Video thumbnails: And break your last version of "Youtube Play Next Queue v".2.5.5
Note: Strange thing: search "Youtube Play Next Queue" greasyfork in DuckDuckGo, don't find it. I can only find your OpenUserJS version.
