I had always found combining an author's works a bit of a drain (especially the popular ones), since you had to constantly be scrolling, loading new pages, losing your place, etc., so I made this script to try to improve that process. It creates a new set of buttons that stay on the screen and remind you of what you've selected (to avoid the annoyance of having to go back when you realized you had something accidentally selected):

(If the title is long and cut off, you can hover your mouse over it to see the full text.)

When you click this new "Combine works" button, instead of taking you to a new page, it pops up a box with the confirmation information in the same page, disambiguation messages and all:

Once you've combined works this way, it will "ghost" them out and disable them from further combining until you refresh the page (which you can now do at your convenience instead of after every single combination):

If you still want to do it the old way, the original buttons that show up at the top and bottom of combination pages have retained the traditional functionality. As always, let me know if you run into problems. I'm omargosh on LT.
