A vdiff of that and this shows it's legit, but yes, a require would be better.
Thanks for your suggestion guys. I have now updated the script and removed the inline jQuery.
Inlines JQuery
This appears to contain an inlined copy of JQuery, rather than properly @require'ing it. This makes it harder to verify that the version of JQuery hasn't been maliciously modified. It would be better to use a canonical copy.
