Remove disablePictureInPicture

Description:

Automatically removes the disablePictureInPicture attribute from <video> elements, enabling native Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode on websites that intentionally block it (e.g., Disney+, Max, Crunchyroll). The script activates only on pages containing video elements and ensures the browser’s built-in PiP button is visible where supported.

Key Features:

  • Removes both the boolean property and HTML attribute disablePictureInPicture.
  • Enables standard video controls (controls=true) to reveal the native PiP button (especially in Chrome/Edge).
  • Runs early (document-start) and uses MutationObserver for dynamically loaded videos (perfect for Netflix, Disney+, etc.).
  • Activates only on pages with videos – efficient and lightweight.
  • Fully compatible with Greasemonkey, Tampermonkey, and Violentmonkey.
  • No permissions or external resources required.
