LinkedIn Cleaner was reported 25.05.2026 for Undisclosed antifeature (e.g. ad, tracking, miner, etc.)
The reporter said:
Needs payment, only disclosed on info page.
Mario Leonidou said:
The payment requirement is not undisclosed — it is explicitly stated in the script's @description field: "Requires a valid license key." The pricing and purchase link are also fully detailed on the script's info page. That said, I acknowledge that Greasy Fork's formal convention for disclosing this is the @antifeature payment metadata tag. I have now added this tag to the script header, which will display a clear payment warning to users before they install. The updated script is being submitted alongside this rebuttal. This script is a legitimate paid tool, not a hidden tracker, miner, or malicious antifeature. The payment model is transparent, the pricing is stated upfront, and no user data is collected beyond what is needed to validate the license key.
