"Moonwalker" automates the pressing of the left or right arrow keys in the web game GoBattle.io. It allows users to continuously simulate holding down the "ArrowRight" key by pressing the = key, or the "ArrowLeft" key by pressing the - key. This allows the simulation of "moonwalking" in GoBattle.

Core Functionality

The script listens for key presses on the gobattle.io website.

  • When the = key is pressed, it begins to rapidly "press" the "ArrowRight" key, causing the in-game character to move continuously to the right.
  • When the - key is pressed, it begins to rapidly "press" the "ArrowLeft" key, causing the in-game character to move continuously to the left.

Toggle and Cancellation Logic

The key feature of this script is its toggle and cancellation behavior:

  • If either = or - is pressed while the other is already active (e.g., if you're holding = for right movement and then press -), the currently active movement will be stopped, and the new movement will start immediately. This means you can fluidly switch directions by just pressing the desired trigger key.
  • If you press the same key again while its action is active (e.g., pressing = a second time while moving right), the movement will stop. This allows you to toggle the continuous movement on and off.
