Remove this damn 😈 "Sign up" modal 🚫 Sign In nag when you do a search on Flickr without signing up or logging in and access to the search results freely.

Additionally, it block the scrolling in the Search page...

READ: Is this new? Trying to browse without an account but getting prompts to sign in. [Reddit - Flickr]

💡 Note: Pressing Esc seems to make it go away, but it only stays gone until you search for something else.

▶▶ But enjoy...This Userstyle remove this Sign in nag! :-)

▶▶ You can test too my other userstyle:

Flickr WideScreen - BigONE [USw]

Flickr WideScreen - BigONE [GreasyFork]

It Delete more adds in Flickr and modify a lot its interface for a best experience with less scrolling.

Just an important note about it: It's ONLY for a WIDESCREEN(1920x1080)!

📌 CHANGE v.2:

👁️‍🗨️ After a comment (read it here):

After further testing I've discovered your userscript unfortunately prevents some functions from working on the search page

- You can no longer click the dropdowns in the top bar that say "Any license" "SafeSearch on" & "Date uploaded"

  • You can no longer click the [...] on thumbnails to access "Temporarily hide all photos from this person" I'm hope you can fix this!

💬 My answer:

Haaa, after some time to inspect that, that's not my userscript:

That's another way for Flickr to push us to their "PRO" plan.

They add some JavaScript functions to prevent us to use these buttons.

My userscript use only CSS (which mostly can only change the visual aspect of a page).

To solve that, we need a JavaScript dev (which i am not...).

But, if - with CSS - i can't do nothing around these "problems", in my next update (v.2), i add some visuals tweaks which ameliorate the browse on Search pages when not logged.

By example:

  • Delete all little "PRO" things and Sponsored add.
  • Adaptation of the top nav to make it compact

💡 Note: Many Flickr's adds take more place so, when removing them, we need change many things to not have huge blank spaces.

I extended these tweaks to some others pages affected that i found quickly...

But to have a much better result for search pages and all Flickr pages

AND if you have a large screen,

you can test my principal userstyle (which should be compatible with "Flickr - No Sign In nag"):

Flickr WideScreen - BigONE
