Floatplane Always Captioned

Automatically checks if a captioned version of a video is available on Floatplane and switches to it if it is.

Features:

  • Detects when a captioned version of a video is available and automatically switches to it.
  • Handles dynamic content loading in single-page applications (SPAs).
  • Displays a cool blackout screen to let you know that it's switching to the captioned version.

Installation:

  1. Install a userscript manager such as Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey.
  2. Click the "Install this script" button.

Usage:

Once installed, the script will automatically run on any Floatplane post page and check for a captioned version of the video. If found, it will switch to the captioned version automatically.
