Another way for Firefox

  1. Open about:config or chrome://geckoview/content/config.xhtml
  2. Search "serif"
  3. copy font.name-list.serif.x-western value to font.name.sans-serif.x-western
  4. (Additional) copy font.name-list.serif.x-unicode value to font.name.sans-serif.x-unicode
  5. (Additional) copy font.name-list.serif.ja value to font.name.sans-serif.ja
