They changed the site name to: Kisscartoon.se

Script does not work anymore

Force an update by right-clicking the script entry in the Addons menu, it should work now.

I solved the original problem and offered some counter-facts.

Take a look at the supported sites, if doesn't work yet ensure it's up to date by reinstalling manually:

I see where it says kisscartoon.se is listed as a supported site but it still does not work. After ten seconds of playing a video the videos stops and says "Please do not block ad on kisscartoon" I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the script to insure it is the latest version.

Nope. Can't reproduce on my end, everything works just fine.

If you open the Dev tools by pressing F12 in the page and switch to the console tab you should see my script doing its thing.

You can copy and paste what you see here, maybe that helps.

I'm n ot sure if that is what you needed. The difference I see between kisscartoon.se which does not work and kissanime.ru which does work is that after is says

on kissanime.ru it will then say

DOM loaded, processing stuff...

but kisscartoon.se does not have that for me.

This might be a Chrome issue. Chrome does not implement the ad-blocking triggers that I need.

In Firefox ads aren't downloaded at all, and that's where the usercript comes in full force.

Installed Chrome just for this. Ran the script without Tampermonkey, works fine. I don't get it.

I figured it out. The script will close ads automatically, but Adblock gets detected. Just run without adblock when on kisscartoon, and it should work just like normal.

I guess it depends on what ad-blocking subscriptions you are using. I can't control the behavior of other extensions. But yeah, In theory my thing should be able to run standalone and kill all the crap they try to serve.

The main difference between using my script in Chrome or Firefox is that the first one removes the cruft elements *after* download while Firefox forbids them from downloading altogether. Which is sensibly faster.

I have the same issue with it not working on kisscartoon without disabling adblock plus. I suppose it's not that big of a deal. But it's a bit annoying when I forget to do it and it stops playing the episode. Wonder what the issue is. Guess I could try adding kisscartoon to adblock's list of exceptions. Don't know if it will still detect it that way though.

Ah well. Can't be helped. At least the script itself still blocks the ads even with adblock disabled. Thanks anyway. And thank you for this script. It's a godsend. You are a saint.
