Torn Custom Usernames

Change Torn's usernames to custom nicknames with a flush, integrated interface.

What this script does:

  • Custom Aliases: Set custom nicknames for players directly on their profile pages.
  • Chat Integration: Usernames in chat boxes are automatically replaced with your chosen nicknames.
  • Profile Header: Replaces the player's name in the profile title (while keeping the "'s Profile" text intact).
  • Privacy Preserved: Fancy Honor Bars and Mini-Profiles remain original and untouched.
  • Persistent Logging: View a 24-hour UTC log of all name changes via a dedicated console on the Preferences page.

🔒 Privacy & Performance:

  • 100% Front-End: All logic stays within your browser.
  • No API/Websockets: This script does not use your API Key or connect to external servers.
  • Efficiency: The script automatically pauses background tasks when the tab is inactive to save system resources.

⚠️ Important Note:

To provide a flush and clean design, this script replaces the native Report and Tutorial buttons on profile pages with the nickname editor. If you need to use the original Report button, please temporarily disable the script.

Configuration:

To manage your nicknames or view the debug logs, simply navigate to your Torn Preferences page.
