I assume that you would need to create an Script Sets, from your user page, by adding the scripts URL or ID into the Favorite scripts textarea and save.

So favorite = fan?

I believe so, but, as for now, no user names are assigned to the fans.

You give it Feedback in the Feedback tab with a green light and then you are a "fan".

For real? That sucks lemons. I would have never figured that out on my own.

I wouldn't have either, but I was just like "where's the fan button..." until I realized the amount of fans was equal to the amount of forum posts per script, not counting the error reports.

Nope.
It appears that srazzano is right.

Proof:
● NoPicAds only has 2 Good Ratings (green)
https://greasyfork.org/scripts/1209-nopicads/feedback

● Yet it has the highest fan number of 25... of all Scripts:
https://greasyfork.org/scripts?sort=fans

● The fans is actually calculated from the number of Favorites added in Script Sets on the users page.
● But we are unable to know who Favorited your Script unless you visit all userpages to check it out.

There are two ways of getting into the fan score:

1. Add the script to your favourites
2. Write a positive or negative feddback.

The formula for the fan score is this: "good ratings - bad ratings + number of people of favorited it"

As I don't think fan is the right expression for this score I created an issue some time ago to rename it: https://github.com/JasonBarnabe/greasyfork/issues/219

Okay... answer is what Tobbe describes. And I see it is now labeled Score instead of Fans.

But Jason...
What if the same person gives a Good Rating AND Favorites the Script.
Would it be counted as 1 or 2

Scoring method seems to be fuzzy logic to me. Or this new psychotic "Common Core Math" Education.
