The script has been updated to make the mouse input configurable. Please update your script, then configure the script.
Middle clicking behaves the same as left clicking. Middle Click should open in a new tab (without having to hold shift). Am I missing something in the settings I can change to do that?

SHIFT key must be held in order to open the image in a new tab.
