This script needs AD block extension running to work. This script can remove the ads which avoiding or requesting you to stop blocking them. Just it.
These are two different scripts, the script you mentioned focuses on removing fab things, but this script is doing more jobs and gives solutions to specify situations. BTW, if you likes other scripts more, you can just use that scripts, that's your free but not my business.

You can try uBlock origin extension first (this script works best with uBlock origin, Microsoft Edge Addon Store), if it doesn't help, please let me know.
