Bitcointalk Translator v4.1.1
This update focuses on cleaner translations, better quote handling, and a new selection translation feature.
Fixed:
- Fixed an issue where already translated content could be included again in later translations.
- Fixed messy output when a post contained multiple quotes.
- Translation boxes created by the script are now ignored when extracting post text.
- “Translate Entire Thread” now skips posts that are already translated instead of toggling/removing them.
Improved:
- Quotes and user replies are now separated into readable sections.
- Multiple quotes are displayed as “Quote 1”, “Quote 2”, etc.
- User-written content is displayed separately as “User text”.
- Added better spacing and separators between quote and reply translations.
- Improved startup reliability so the floating button and panel load more consistently.
- Added fallback style injection if `GM_addStyle` is unavailable.
Added:
- New “Select and Translate” feature.
- Select any text on the page and a “Translate selection” button will appear.
- The selected text translation opens in a small popup.
- The selection popup includes a copy button.
This version should make long Bitcointalk posts, especially posts with multiple quotes, much easier to read after translation.
