Replace Images and Redirect Sitewide Search to Google

Hi everyone, I've been plugging away at the following for a few days and figured it might be time to put up my hand and ask for help!

(For a presentation) I'm trying to illustrate some proposed changes to a website (www.hilti.com) and thought something like greasemonkey scripts (TaperMonkey, actually as I'm trying to do this in Chrome) might be a great way to do this (rather than a static Photoshop mockup).

I've been trying various scripts to replace certain images and change the website search box to (instead of searching Hilti's website) open a new browser tab and search Google with that query (not a Google search of Hilti's website - just a regular Google search).

Could anyone please help point me in the right direction?
