Add hotkeys for switching between files on Overleaf (overleaf.com)

Features

  • Works even when file drawer is collapsed/hidden
  • Displays current file path on top
  • Detects manual file switches
  • Custom filetype filter (click filepath display for prompt)

Current hotkeys

  • Ctrl+Shift+PgUp/Ctrl+Shift+, : Previous file
  • Ctrl+Shift+PgUp/Ctrl+Shift+. : Next file
  • Ctrl+Shift+/ : Alt-tab style switch to previous file (most recent file)
  • Ctrl+I : Emphasize text (overrides default 'italicize' hotkey)
  • Ctrl+M : Insert \text when in math mode
  • Click filepath display : Customize filetype filter [defualt:tex, bib, txt]

Notes

  • Filetype selector: Enter the ids of file types, eg. enter 123 for tex, bib, txt. Enter all to disable filtering and allow all file types

Known issues

  • File path display only updates when file is switched using the hotkeys. Manually clicking on a file won't update the file path being display.
