Can I change name of my userscript on greasefork?
Yes, but then no one that already installed it will have it be updated to the latest version automatically.
I think they're updated automatically without problem - the user script managers remember the update URL.
It's only if people try to install again where potential issues come in.
I always experienced the exact opposite.
Everytime I change a script name I never get updates for it again, unless I manually open the script page and click on the update button.
I've always wondered if this was a greasy fork or tamper monkey issue.
Perhaps tamper monkey uses the gf url with the full script name to install the script, and if the script name is changed it keeps looking for the old script name, Hus never auto updating the script?
