pros

• Overall it looks quite fine and is usable to browse and listen to tracks. ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪
• has a toggle switch in the main menu (the three dots to the upper right)
• SoundCloud Premier page looks okay.

cons

• the comments are black on black. So this theme is not usable when comments
• the Insights page gets a black backdrop (outside the main frame) but it stays a default (light themed) page in the middle.
• popup hints for new functions are white font on white background ¯\(°_o)/¯
• headers on the Revenue page are white on light grey (not readable)

conclusion

In detail, it's not perfect, but it's acceptable. The toggle-Button in the menu really helps when you need details where the dark theme does not fit in. For leaving it alone to just play, it really does it's job.

• Let a laptop run soundcloud with your favourite list on a party with your friends without having that bright light source in you room: check!

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! The comments section has been fixed in the newest version (0.23.0). Unfortunately, however, I don't intend to fix the artist pages, including track uploads, insights, etc. since those pages are quite complicated, especially with SoundCloud's new "early access" experience.
