Leverages the YouTube Detailed Timecode user script by Charlie Laabs and adds quality of life improvements for timing IL speedruns using the YouTube player.

Features

Fine scrubbing options

  • CTRL + ALT + <number key> Advance frames forward (not on Num Pad)
  • CTRL + SHIFT + <number key> Advance frames backward (not on Num Pad)
  • CTRL + "." Advance 1 second forward
  • CTRL + "," Advance 1 second backward

Time in milliseconds

The script will display the current time of the video to the nearest millisecond.

Frame detection

The script will display the current frame number and FPS to the right of the YouTube time display on the bottom of the player

To do

  • Ability to define start and endpoints for a clip within a video and automatically calculate elapsed time of that clip
  • UI for frame advance (instead of just keyboard shortcuts)
  • Playback rate control
