Automatically highlight user-defined text with Seek function (2019-09-22)

I tried to add the following line to the custom field but I didn't get anything different happening:
title="my tooltip content"
Hi Frank, that field is only for style rules such as:
font-style: italic;
What kind of text would you want in a tooltip? It could be inserted (with some new script code) as the title attribute of the tag used to apply highlighting.
Thanks for the quick response. I have a number of different lists that would be highlighted on a common page (so a patchwork of colors), I would like to hover over one of the highlighted words and be reminded about what the color code relates to eg blue = "type 1", red = "type 2" etc, the "title" attribute would be sufficient for my needs. Thanks again!

Sorry, non-programmer here, is it possible to add a tooltip function via the "Custom" field, when creating a new list?
