No actual script stops youtube from displaying the beginning of their blocked ads..
I'm using uBlock Origin in a medium mode and I never see ads on youtube.
I am using AdBlockPlus (with only EasyList filter), and I never see ads on Youtube too.
Maybe you have checked the "Allow some non-intrusive ads" option.
no, i havent "adblock latitude" doesn't have "non-intrusive ads", it's bypassed automatically. i'm using palemoon. the only script that stops that stupid ad picture
that pops from time to time is youtube+ & in my browser, only v0.5.7 functions.
& i have easylist..
