Exports your whole JanitorAI account from your own logged-in session: every chat, the character cards behind them, and the lorebooks.

A floating "Export all" button appears at the bottom right on janitorai.com. One click walks every character you have chatted with, downloads one JSON file, and shows progress while it runs.

What it exports

  • every chat and every message, for every character
  • character cards (name, description, personality, scenario, greeting, example dialogs)
  • lorebooks, including private ones: those answer 404 on their own endpoint even while you are logged in, but JanitorAI still resolves them into the prompt it assembles for a generation, so the text is recovered from there
  • hidden definitions (showdefinition off), recovered the same way

What it cannot export A card whose creator turned allow_proxy off and hid the definition. With both closed the text is never assembled anywhere the browser can read it. Anything unreachable is listed at the end with the reason, rather than silently exported as an empty card.

Notes

  • everything runs in your browser against your own session, nothing is sent anywhere
  • recovered lorebook entries are keyless and always-on, because the keys do not survive the assembly and inventing them would be guesswork
  • the output imports directly into UnoRouter chat; it is plain JSON, so it can be converted for other frontends too
