The core interface uses an isolated Shadow DOM and includes quick actions for Hide, Scope, Reveal, Links, Time Skip, Freeze, and the Control Panel.
🎯 Element Hiding
Click Hide and select an element directly from the webpage. A selector stepper lets you move between parent and child elements before confirming the selection.

Hidden elements are handled using persistent selectors and a stealth-style hiding system rather than simply removing the selected node from the DOM.
❄️ Navigation Freeze
Freeze Mode is designed to stop unwanted navigation caused by redirects, popups, link clicks, window.open(), and programmatic navigation.
Available navigation policies:

Blocked navigation attempts can be recorded in the activity log, while trusted domains can be added to the allowlist.

Direct image, video, and audio URLs can expose a Download action when the detected media type is supported.
🔓 Reveal & Unblock Tools
The Pro version includes several tools intended to restore functionality that websites commonly restrict through CSS, JavaScript, or page behavior.

🛡️ Cloudflare-Aware Protection
The script includes dedicated Cloudflare challenge detection. When Cloudflare Protection is enabled, detected challenge pages can temporarily disable interfering Pro features rather than aggressively modifying the challenge page.
Detection uses multiple Cloudflare-specific indicators, including challenge containers, Turnstile elements, challenge scripts, Ray IDs, and related page markers.
This does not bypass Cloudflare verification. It is intended to reduce interference between the userscript and legitimate Cloudflare challenge pages.

Custom rules can be edited or deleted directly from the Control Panel, while blocked and allowed domains can be managed independently.
🎛️ Dock Customization
The floating dock can be moved and customized so only the tools you actually use remain visible.
Available quick buttons include:

The Menu button remains available for accessing the Control Panel.
💾 Persistent Configuration
Your configuration is stored persistently, including Freeze preferences, blocked and allowed domains, custom rules, time-skipper settings, scroll restoration, context-menu settings, blur removal, Cloudflare protection, hidden dock buttons, logs, and saved site/page rules.
The script also synchronizes settings between supported frames and storage changes so the interface remains consistent across the page.
🚀 How to Use
- Install the userscript in Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey, or another compatible userscript manager.
- Open any webpage.
- Use the floating dock to access the main tools.
- Use Hide to select unwanted page elements.
- Use Reveal to restore hidden/obscured content when applicable.
- Use Links to inspect extracted links and detected media.
- Use Freeze to control unwanted navigation.
- Open Menu for advanced settings, rules, domains, logs, and backups.
⚠️ Important Notes
- This script operates on webpages and can modify page behavior significantly when advanced features are enabled.
- Some websites may depend on the same browser functions that this script restores or intercepts.
- Disable individual features if a website behaves unexpectedly.
- Auto Remove Blur is intentionally aggressive and may affect legitimate visual effects.
- Cloudflare Protection is recommended when visiting pages containing Cloudflare challenges.
- Media download availability depends on whether the page exposes a directly accessible media URL. It is not a universal DRM or protected-stream downloader.
- Some sites may use techniques that prevent element selection, link extraction, media detection, or navigation interception.
- Do not use the script to violate website terms, copyright restrictions, access controls, or other applicable laws.
🔐 Privacy
Hide Web Elements Pro does not require an external account or centralized service. Settings are stored through the userscript manager's storage system, with localStorage fallback where applicable.
The script requests broad webpage access because its purpose is to operate across websites. It also uses userscript networking/download APIs for supported media and page functionality.
