Growth Advisor looks at your character - level, battle stats, energy, nerve, happiness, money, refills, cooldowns, and stock portfolio - and gives you a short, ranked "Do this now" list with plain-English reasons. No settings, no spreadsheets, no manual input.
It's built for new players who don't know where to start, but it scales its advice all the way up: a level 5 beginner and a 100M+ stat veteran see completely different recommendations.
What it does
- 🎯 Ranked "Do this now" list - the top 5 highest-impact actions for your character right now, each with a one-paragraph explanation of why it matters
- 📊 Four progression phases - Early Game, Getting Established, Mid Game, and Veteran, detected automatically from your level and total battle stats. Beginners get the beer flip and attack-&-leave leveling; veterans get stock benefit blocks, happy-jump training, and Organized Crimes
- ✅ Auto-checking daily checklist - energy spent, nerve spent, cash banked, daily refills used, drug cooldown running. Checkmarks fill themselves in from the API as you play
- 📈 Progress tracking - automatic snapshots of your stats and networth; after a few days you'll see "Last 7 days: Stats +4.2M · Networth +$120M" every time you open it
- 🔋 Refill & cooldown nudges - warns you before your daily energy/nerve refills expire at midnight TCT, and when your drug cooldown sits empty
- 💹 Stock benefit-block advisor - shows which passive benefit blocks you already own and the cheapest ones you can afford next, using live stock prices
- 🔴 "Don't waste regen" badge - a quiet pulsing dot on the sidebar link when your energy or nerve is about to cap
- 🌱 Clean integration - a link in Torn's sidebar (with a small floating button as fallback), works on desktop and mobile
Setup (once, ~30 seconds)
- Install the script (Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey, or Torn PDA)
- In Torn go to Settings → API Keys and create a Limited Access key
- Click 🌱 Growth Advisor in the sidebar and paste the key
- Done - it remembers the key and everything else is automatic
Privacy
- Your API key is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and sent only to api.torn.com
- The script never spends, trades, clicks, or changes anything - it is read-only
- A Limited Access key cannot perform any account actions; you can revoke it anytime in Torn settings
Compatibility
- Desktop: Tampermonkey / Violentmonkey on any modern browser
- Mobile: works in Torn PDA (the script auto-detects PDA and uses plain fetch)
Notes
- Recommendations follow well-established community strategy (attack-&-LEAVE leveling, happiness before training, crime chains, OCs, benefit blocks). Suggestions welcome - leave feedback!
- API usage is light: one or two requests when you open the panel, plus a cached background check at most once per 5 minutes.
