Host a Private Racetrack in Style

This bot will automatically join races in its private racetrack, giving you some awesome perks:

  • You can race at the bot account's difficulty setting (beginner, megaracer, etc)
  • The bot pastes the upcoming quote into chat before the timer even starts, meaning you can practice it
  • Removes the need to have another person to race in a private racetrack
  • After each race, the bot posts who won, with what scores, allowing you to see the results of previous races

Setup

  1. Install the script using TamperMonkey or GreaseMonkey
  2. Get a dedicated TypeRacer account to be the bot. If you want to boot the bot down to beginner difficulty, just join a practice race while logged in and let it time out.
  3. Set up a dedicated browser to host the bot. If you are racing and hosting the bot on the same computer, use a different browser for the bot and yourself. Make sure you use separate accounts, too!
  4. Go to TypeRacer.com and the bot will start a private racetrack, copy the link and share with your friends
  5. Race away!
