Adds overlapping crossfade to Spotify Web Player. Spawns a second "shadow" instance of the current track, syncs it to the live position, then swaps and fades both players together as the real player moves to the next track.

Requires Spotify Ad Skipper + Seek Controls installed and enabled - this script depends entirely on window.SpotifyPlayer and does nothing on its own.

Methods

  • SpotifyPlayer.enableCrossfade(bool) - toggle crossfade on/off (on by default)

Notes Tested against Spotify Web Player SDK harmony 4.78.0. Relies on internal Spotify APIs, so it may break on player updates.
