A Tampermonkey userscript that helps track job applications on SimplifyJobs' New Grad Positions GitHub page.

Features

  • Visual Job Tracking: Applied jobs are highlighted in green
  • Persistent Storage: Job application status saves across browser sessions
  • Easy Marking: Check/uncheck jobs as applied with a simple checkbox
  • Auto-Detection: Clicking job links automatically marks them as applied

Installation

  1. Install Tampermonkey browser extension
  2. Click "Create a new script" in Tampermonkey dashboard
  3. Replace default content with the script code
  4. Save (Ctrl+S)

Usage

Navigate to the SimplifyJobs New Grad Positions page. The script automatically:

  • Adds an "Applied" checkbox column to each job listing
  • Highlights previously applied jobs in green
  • Saves your application status locally

Mark as Applied:

  • Check the checkbox in the first column, OR
  • Click any job application link

Remove Applied Status:

  • Uncheck the checkbox

Privacy

All data is stored locally in your browser. No information is sent to external servers.
