hi. Unfortunately, it's not possible without serverside helpers and since this script works only within a browser, I cannot add this feature.
You can search here or on the web for sites that help you download public account's stories.
There was a Chrome extension but it had to shut down - IG didnt like that.
Can you add open image/video from Stories?
