Yes I guess that the first thing you said it's possible to do.
The second thing you said is not possible,JS can't work across different browsers.

Context menu - redirect URLs to Wayback Machine
I'm using Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 S.
Is there any way to add a JS script to enable me to r-click a link and have the context menu give me the option to view that link at the Wayback Machine (web.archive.org/web//enter_url_here/)?
Would it be possible to send that link to another browser or application via that same context menu?
